Its starting to look like a real kitchen. Not much more to go till we can use it.

The kitchen cupboards are being installed giving us a feeling for what its going to be like when its all finished.

It still needs to be sanded and polished but it makes a great difference!

Now the plumbing and electrical preparation is just about done. The new bearers and joists for the new section of floor are in as well.

Work starting

What we haven't shown is all the work that has gone on in the ceiling till now to support the house when the wall comes down.

These photos show the preparations of the wall to come down including of the removal of the cupboards on the wall.

kitchen renovation

This is a blog about the kitchen renovation at 78 Longstaff Street Lyneham. For those who knew it the old kitchen was a bit pokey and the front living room was a bit awkward. This renovation knocks the wall down between the two and installs a new kitchen.
